Lilydale's history is steeped in agriculture. The rich soils and excellent rainfall creates a bounty at harvest time. Pole no: 289A.

Below: A portrait of Jeff Sims. Jeff has been a quiet leader in Lilydale for many decades. He and his wife Doreen have taken care of the Memorial Hall and enabled it to be made available for community use.

Jeff was also the President of the Lilydale District Progress Assocation.  

This pole has a glorious array of images of farmyards of all kinds. The chooks and roosters are painted with love, and all the animals have attitude.
