Outside the Uniting Church is a very blue pole - the performing arts pole.

This pole celebrates the many and varied performing arts activities undertaken by people who live in the Lilydale region. Featured are aspects of local music making, Valley Voices, Lilydale Players and TasDance whose Artistic Director, Annie Greig is a long-time Karoola resident. The Lilydale winter solstice Lantern Walk is represented along with Shannon, one of the regular participants in the Lantern Walk.
